Kelly P2024-10-01Verified Amazing Learnt so much about elephants. The interaction to feed and walk with them was an experience that can’t be described in words. Also hats off to the staff and carers for the amazing job they are doing to care for the elephants!!! Ronel K2024-09-17Verified Absolutely amazing experience! Absolutely amazing experience! Good people doing good work. Enjoyed the presentation about the program's projects in the community as well as the insight into how elephants view the world. Seeing the work they're doing with positive reinforcement training was inspiring and, of course, getting to actually touch and feed an elephant was absolutely incredible! Loved watching them play in the water afterwards as well. Cache2024-04-18Verified You can't get closer to an elephant! Educational as well close interaction with orphaned elephants in a a wild setting. This is a not for profit business that looks after 9 elephants that cannot be released to the wild- but the have several thousand hectares to wander through, and can interact with wild elephants also on the reserve. Staff are knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. I learned heaps about how an elephant's trunk worked while feeding one and asking questions. Photos then taken at a waterhole with other wild elephants nearby from a safe platform. Glad we went. Guy and Kerri2023-06-21Verified Too little time with the elephants More time with the elephants, the people doing the presentation kept asking for money, tips, donations yvonnewiesenthal123@gmail.com2023-05-26Verified Elephants are Fascinating This elephant encounter is informative and entertaining. In addition to feeding one of the elephants (quite the experience to feel how their trunk moves and works), there is an educational presentation at the beginning and time spent near the elephants' waterhole at the end where you can watch their behaviors up close, take great photos, enjoy a small snack, and talk with the caretakers. The people here are invested in ways to protect elephants and allow these animals and humans to coexist using natural methods. We found the entire experience to be worthwhile and were happy to participate in a natural encounter with these beautiful and unusual animals. julijoyeux2022-06-01

The care takers were excellent guides and taught us many interesting things about Elephants. We were able to watch elephants bathe in a pond, we fed elephants and were able to touch them as well. Fantastic opportunity and great organization. Special shout out to Klaus, Benjamin, Wilford and Desire! We learned so much about elephants in a fun environment. The elephants were orphaned and are now well taken care of. It was a beautiful way to learn about these amazing animals. Nyasha from Shearwater Travels and Gerald from EleCREW made the impossible possible by setting up a surprise engagement for my fiancé and I at absolute short notice. Their professionalism, kindness and skills are unparalleled, we are so fortunate to have met such brilliant people during our first ever trip to Zimbabwe, Vic Falls.
